Extreme Weather Warming Center
Dec 12, 2025

At the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky, our work is Life Saving, Life Changing year-round. When temperatures drop this low, we take action and focus first on the Life Saving part of our mission. In partnership with Kenton County and the City of Covington, we are opening our doors as a Warming Center to ensure no one has to suffer in the cold, especially during a federal holiday when many public buildings are closed. We’re proud of the role we play in saving lives in Northern Kentucky, and deeply grateful for a community that continues to show up for our guests and our mission.
