Due to a dangerous winter storm and life-threatening cold temperatures, the Campbell County Cold Shelter operated by the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky (ESNKY) is being activated to ensure adults in our community have a safe, warm place to sleep.
Friday (1/23) 7pm-7am
Saturday (1/24) 7pm-7am
Sunday (1/25) 7pm-7am
Monday (1/26) 7pm-7am
The program is located at the RCC, 524 Columbia St., Newport, KY 41071, and is available to all adults 18 years or older, for both men and women. ESNKY will provide a supportive environment with bunk beds, showers, coffee, and light snacks. Individuals seeking shelter or program information should call (859) 979-0026.
To support this emergency response, ESNKY is seeking donations of towels, washcloths, single-use bowls and spoons, coffee cups, cereal, and snacks. Donations can be dropped off at 36 W 13th St., Covington, KY 41011. Please do not bring donations to the RCC. For donation or volunteer information, call (859) 291-4555.
